One reason I like to study the findings of people like Tom Holland is that he has no dog in the fight
Every thinking man(and woman) has "a dog in this fight".
Every thinking person at some point has had to reconcile and justify their own mortality to themselves.
Memento Mori. No human should ever forget that is your destiny. And it could happen at any second. It's closer than your skin.
As for Jesus I'm with Jefferson.
And don't get me wrong Corky. I love your stuff. (Most of it!) Because I am a Cultural Christian as well as a Cultural Buddhist and a Cultural Muslim, as well as several others too! (Hinduism, Judaism, Confucianism, and Taoism..etc) And I do enjoy a good debate with any of them.
But no one really has to justify the power of Love. If you've lived long enough on this planet then you've already seen it (or at least read about it). If you haven't felt it then I feel sorry for you. And if your particular chosen faith (you did CHOOSE it right?) also does not recognize the power of love.. again ... I feel sorry for you.
So we can't even exhibit our own Constitution any more.

Do not comply. As private citizens you do not have to obey EOs.
They are directed only at the federal government.
Generally private citizens do not have to directly obey executive orders, as these directives are primarily aimed at federal agencies, directing how they interpret or enforce laws.
Executive orders must be based on existing law or the Constitution and can be revoked by subsequent presidents or overturned by courts if deemed unconstitutional.
If an executive order directly affects or violates the rights of a private citizen or business, that entity can challenge the order in court.
Do not cooperate. Do not comply.
