And I have no trouble believing any anecdotal evidence of this actually happening being promoted throughout conservative media.

I watched CBS Sunday morning yesterday and there was a segment on child care and how expensive it is. Maybe I missed it but I don't believe this action in NM was included in the segment.

My wife stayed home for the vast majority of the time for our 3 kids at home.....and she can make some money as a contract OT.

It was a big sacrifice financially for us. We lived in less home, drove less expensive cars, etc. We made it work.....my income has always been decent.

I'm glad we weren't stuck with the issue of very expensive child care costs today these young couples face.

Can we agree that the environment doesn't care if the oil and gas industry funds a worthy cause such as child care and that pollution is pollution?

Regardless....this is why folks can convince Joe 6 pack there is no difference between the 2 parties.

they both take money from the oil and gas industry. One side might use the money for better and worthy causes.....but they still rely on the industry.

I'm not making that argument...but you can see why it's an easy piece of propaganda to use.

That's correct. It's kind of similar to the tobacco industry. We tax the sale of their products to the point where it's a necessary source of revenue.

As of 2023, we collect $38 billion in tax revenue from tobacco.
