Yep, applied to "all persons" during a defined period. Conditioned on a conviction. Provided an application process.

The conviction isn't final until the sentence is issued.
True, which is preventing the Buffoon's appeal of his criminal convictions. Which, he asked for.

What makes you think the article is an "OpEd?"

I want to see him held fully to account as a typical lying lifetime politician.
"Core constitutional" presidential powers, such as the enumerated pardon power, are immune from "full" accountability. So sayeth the USSC in support of the Buffoon.
I intrepidly anticipate the insane support you and your ilk will extend the Buffoon for his expected bizarre execution of such core powers.

OK, now I am confused.
No, you are a pendant that can't accept finality.

Yeah, this looks to be a Federal case, so Pres-elect Trump does seem to have the option to pardon.
Nope. The pardon power only extends to "Offenses against the United States," i.e. federal crimes. The underlying civil judgment in this is for state law defamation against two individuals.

So, Musk is another in long line of imbeciles that fail to comprehend the legal definition of Treason. Color me surprised.

-There is zero chance that a mass deportation can work in compliance with these rights.
I agree....which is why I have my doubts as to how far this will go.
There are Constitutional pathways to accomplish some of the Buffoon's apparent goals. www.lawfaremedia.org
But it ain't all peaches and cream. www.lawfaremedia.org

At least she's an experienced lawyer and prosecutor. The other idiot barely practiced civil law for at most 3 years.

Non-Commissioned Officer in the National Guard, only reached Major
That sentence disqualifies you from ever commenting about anything military.

That's some incoherent babble. Again, the question is "proof of citizenship." The suggested proof is a birth certificate. Mine does not do that. So now what?
More babble? More BS?

Are you suggesting ...
No, I'm asking a question based on the provided data. Do you have an answer or just more hyperbolic BS?
I'm betting more hyperbolic BS but we'll see.

...without showing proof of citIzenship[sic]...
I'm curious, how does this "proof of citizenship work?" Birth certificate? The last certified copy of mine that I saw had a bunch of typed information. It had nothing that would evidentially tie me (this body, this person) to that piece of paper. Thus, check box or birth certificate what's the difference?
So how does this work, hyperbolic's?

Why would they unilaterally disarm?
