I will say though that I don't think this has anything to do with Padilla's race. This is an administration that has no respect for the rights of anyone who disagrees with them, even with regard to the most minor of issues. I think they would have given Adam Schiff the same rough treatment. They might have even given him a solid kick to the ribs considering the way Trump has demonized him.

It's as if the Trump administration puts no thought at all into their decisions. I mean Elon told us they were going to break things. Here's how close it came to succeeding. If Mike Pence would have went along with Trump's demand and rejected the votes or has he allowed his handlers to remove him from the Capitol on Jan 6 then the plan that claim doesn't exist would have succeeded.
You don't have to take my word for it. Pence had this to say "President Trump demanded that I use my authority as vice president presiding over the count of the Electoral College to essentially overturn the election by returning or literally rejecting votes."

So some lie and claim there was no plan when Trump's own vice president has publicly admitted that the Trump illegally attempted to include him in the conspiracy.

We saw this in St. Louis a few years ago. The media tried to portray people getting kettled, beat and shot by cops as rioters and vandals. That was more far from the truth. Often they were just people trying to get home or go to work. There was one night I was leaving a music performance and walked out the exit onto an block where cops where marching on from both directions. Some of the people leaving that show got kettled and bear sprayed. For the fortunate of us, myself included, we realized what was going on and convinced the venue and the next door bar that was just locking up to let us duck inside for bit until we were behind the line of fascist enforcers.

I've heard that accommodations were not provided for them because Hegseth was on a bender and forgot to approve the request.

If anyone commits any crime, we shouldn't arrest them if they have a job. That is stupid logic and just adds to the mounting evidence of why America is getting sick of the liberal mentality.

Do you not realize that most of the people being arrested currently didn't enter illegally. They were here legally under temporary protected status until Trump recently revoked that status despite the conditions that resulted in their home countries not having improved, and in many cases (hello Haiti) have worsened significantly. We welcomed them in to escape political and climate instability in their home countries. Some of them are DREAMERS who were small children when they were first brought here and have known no other life than living in the US. They've grown up here, went to college here even started business here but have been denied a path to citizenship because of congressional intransigence. They aren't the criminals that the 34x felon Trump claims they are. What is being done to many of them is the real crime.

That -------- just pointed and shot at a journalist who CLEARLY was not a threat to anyone.
