This is still not even solved with voter ID since our drivers license or state ID do not designate US Citizenship on them. Also voter eligibility is already verified at the registration level, not at the voting location. I already show my drivers license and sign beside my name on their list when I receive my ballot at the voting location. Then I go vote, slip my ballot in a blank cover, and then in a wooden box with a cutout in it. Having to bring my birth certificate, marriage license, in some cases divorce decree, another marriage license, etc to the voting location is asinine.

I dont think that is completely accurate because 2 of the people I live with are regular users that exhibit mood swings and are easily aggravated when they go without. Certainly nothing like going through alcohol or other drug withdrawals but they are certainly uncomfortable.
