Sonny Boy Williamson - Good Morning, School Girl" (1937)
www.youtube.com
OK, it appears that Ten Years After has added some lyrics and, I'll say, testosterone, to the song.
@#7 an old song ...
There seems to be a history (which I discovered in my process of posting #7) ...
Good Morning, School Girl
en.wikipedia.org
... Good Morning, School Girl" is a blues standard that has been identified as an influential part of the blues canon.[1] Pre-war Chicago blues vocalist and harmonica pioneer John Lee "Sonny Boy" Williamson first recorded it in 1937. Subsequently, a variety of artists have recorded versions of the song, usually calling it "Good Morning Little Schoolgirl".[2] ...
Original song
Sonny Boy Williamson I recorded "Good Morning, School Girl" in 1937 during his first recording session for Bluebird Records.[1] The song is an uptempo blues with an irregular number of bars.[3] Although identified with Chicago blues, a write-up in the Blues Hall of Fame notes "it was a product of Sonny Boy's west Tennessee roots and his pre-Chicago ensemble work".[1] The melody has been traced to "Back and Side Blues", a 1934 blues song recorded by Son Bonds. "Good Morning, School Girl" features Williamson's vocal and harmonica with accompaniment by Big Joe Williams and Robert Lee McCoy (also known as Robert Nighthawk) on guitars.
Blues renditions
In October 1948, Leroy Dallas recorded a version of the song, titled "Good Morning Blues".[4] Texas bluesman Smokey Hogg recorded his version, calling it "Little School Girl". In 1950, the song reached number nine on the Billboard Best-Selling Retail Rhythm & Blues Records chart[5] and number five on the magazine's Most Played Juke Box R&B chart.[6] Memphis one-man-band Joe Hill Louis recorded an electric version titled "Good Morning Little Angel" in February or March 1953.[7] ...
In 1967, the Grateful Dead recorded a version for their self-titled debut album based on Wells' arrangement. Ron "Pigpen" McKernan provided the vocal and harmonica, which an AllMusic reviewer called a "greasy harp-fuelled take".[18] The song was a staple of their early live performances.
English group Ten Years After updated the song with a blues-rock arrangement for their 1969 album Ssssh. In an album review, Jim Newsom noted the seven-minute version included "reworked lyrics leaving little doubt as to what the singer had in mind for the title character".[19] ...

Donald Trump's February 2020 trip to Las Vegas funneled over $12k to Trump Hotel (2021)
www.citizensforethics.org
... Trump International Hotel Las Vegas charged the Secret Service $12,368.66 during a three night trip to the West Coast in February 2020, according to records obtained by CREW from a Freedom of Information Act request. The receipt adds to a growing public tally of taxpayer money spent at Trump properties during his presidency, a sum that continues to balloon even after his departure.
During the trip, Trump spoke in California, Arizona, and Colorado. Instead of staying locally, Trump returned to Las Vegas each evening to stay at his own hotel, likely racking up an estimated $1.1 million in taxpayer-funded Air Force One trips. When asked why he didn't find more convenient accommodations, Trump blamed the Secret Service, telling reporters "the schedule is set by the Secret Service. We do what they want us to." An email from the Department of Homeland Security to CREW said there are no records showing that the Secret Service prefered Trump's hotel.
This spending adds to a larger body of evidence showing how President Trump used the presidency to pour taxpayer money into his businesses. ...

Now that the election results seem to show Latinos boosting Pres-elect Trump to the Oval Office, will the GOP's stance on immigrnts change?

Statement of Michael E. ... In December 2019, the DOJ OIG released our review of certain actions by the FBI and the Department during an FBI investigation, known as "Crossfire Hurricane," into whether individuals associated with the Donald J. Trump for President Campaign were coordinating, wittingly or unwittingly, with the Russian government's efforts to interfere in the 2016 U.S. presidential election. Among other issues, our review assessed four applications filed with the FISC in 2016 and 2017 to conduct FISA surveillance targeting Carter Page, who had been a Trump campaign official prior to the FISA surveillance.
The applications to surveil Carter Page were sought pursuant to Title I of FISA, which requires the Department to file an application with the FISC to authorize the electronic surveillance of a telephone number, email account, or other "facility." In its application, the government must show probable cause to believe that the proposed target is a foreign power or an agent of a foreign power. ...

DOJ Says Two Wiretap Warrants Against Former Trump Aide Carter Page Are Invalid (2020)
www.forbes.com
... The Justice Department said two of the four wiretap warrants used by the FBI against former Trump campaign aide Carter Page are invalid, according to a FISA Court order declassified on Thursday, meaning the agency is conceding that the FBI's surveillance of the Trump aide should have ended sooner, or after the first two warrants expired. ...
The Justice Department determined that those errors rendered two of the renewal applications invalid because there was "insufficient predication to establish probable cause." ...
While the Inspector General report found that the FBI submitted incomplete or incorrect information for Page's wiretap application, it also said the FBI was justified in opening up the Russia investigation in the first place. ...
