Over the last month, the Trump administration has ramped up its promise to carry out "mass deportations." ... Since then, hundreds of international students across the country have had their student visas revoked for a variety of alleged infractions, ranging from traffic violations to pro-Palestinian speech. In mid-March, the administration also deported more than 200 Venezuelan immigrants -- many with active asylum cases before courts -- whom it alleges to be gang members to a maximum-security prison in El Salvador, pointing to the Alien Enemies Act of 1798 as justification for bypassing the usual due process of law. Among them was Kilmar Abrego Garcia, who was unlawfully deported due to an "administrative error." Despite acknowledging the error and the Supreme Court ruling in favor of his return, the Trump administration has refused to bring Abrego Garcia back to the U.S. read more

Under blue skies, where low-rolling hills rise south of the Canadian border in the tiny town of Adams, N.D., a couple brave the stench of old honey, wax, smoke and bee muck. Nancy and Keith Budke, married 43 years, are migratory beekeepers. They produce honey with the taste of canola nectar, sweet clover and other flowers that their bees pollinate first in North Dakota, then in Texas, after being hauled there by truck, and eventually in California -- if the bees make it that far and if nobody snatches them. read more

Hegseth Got Airstrike Details from Secure Military Channel for Signal Chats
www.newsweek.com

... Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth is under mounting scrutiny after reports revealed he pulled highly sensitive information about U.S. airstrikes in Yemen from a secure military communications channel and shared it via Signal, an unsecured messaging app, with his wife, brother, lawyer, and others.

NBC News first reported that the data -- including launch and bomb drop times for U.S. warplanes targeting Houthi positions -- originated from U.S. Central Command's classified communications. A source familiar with a second Signal chat confirmed to the Associated Press that the same sensitive operational details were shared again, this time with an even wider circle, raising concerns over a potential security breach. ...

@#4 ... Pickled Pete Hegseth in 2016: "How damaging is it to your ability to recruit or build allies with others when they are worried that our leaders may be exposing them because of their gross negligence or their recklessness in handling information?" ...

Wow.

Hegseth's Own Words Come Back to Haunt Him After Texting War Plans (March 25, 2025)

... In the same segment, Hegseth also remarked on the recklessness and danger of Clinton's actions.

"The people we rely on to do dangerous and difficult things for us rely on one thing from us: That we will not reveal their identity, that we will not be reckless with the dangerous thing they are doing for us.

That's the national security implications of a private server that's unsecured," Hegseth said. ...

On the current timeline, an April 8, 2025 poll is stale.

But that's all I was able to [quickly] find.

My guess would be that Pres Trump's numbers would only get worse from there.

@#23 ... The people who actually drive them say "Cummings" because illeterate . ...

So, now, is your current alias trying to deflect to call "illiterate" those good people who have purchased that vehicle?

An interesting aspect of the Cummins engine ...

Where Are Cummins Engines Built And Who Makes Them?
www.slashgear.com

... Cummins diesel engines have built a reputation for being tough, dutiful, and very reliable.

The mid fourth-generation 6.7-liter 24-valve, first and second-generation 5.9-liter 12-valve, late second-generation and third-generation 5.9-liter 24-valve, as well as mid fourth-generation 6.7-liter 24-valve, in particular, have been highly praised by fans for their dependability.

To go with that durability, Cummins engines deliver good fuel economy, plenty of power and torque, as well as smooth, responsive performance. For all of their attractiveness and popularity, however, Cummins engines can be a bit of a mystery if you don't take a particular interest in car engines.

Cummins engines are made by Cummins Inc., a leading American multinational corporation founded in 1919 as Cummins Engine Co. by Clessie Cummins (with the support of William G. Irwin). Cummins Inc. designs and manufactures its own engines, which have found applications in cars, marine, and other uses.

The Indiana-based giant has many production locations where it makes its engines, including the Rocky Mount Engine Plant (RMEP) in North Carolina, Jamestown Engine Plant (JEP) in New York, Columbus Midrange Engine Plant (CMEP) in Indiana, as well as Cummins Darlington Plant in the UK. Cummins also has plants in India where it makes engines for
off-highway applications like excavators, tractors, haul trucks, cranes, and generators, among others. ...
