It's kinda become a victim of it's own success. Much tougher to move from stage to stage with the bigger crowds and most of the acts, along with the guy that founded it, that kicked it off have kicked the bucket. The older school folkies and Bluegrass players like Hazel Dickens, Earl Scruggs, Ralph Stanley, Kinky, ... Emmylou Harris has closed it out every year and Buddy Miller will bring it, but it's gotten more focused on a younger crowd with the new talent bookers (I think even Boz Scagg's crew have moved on the last few years). I stumbled across it Year 4 when I finished my Sunday disc golf league and heard banjo music from across the street. Ricky Skaggs' band and I spent the rest of the day and every first weekend in Oct there for the next 17-18 years. You're just not going to hear a bluegrass band with Bob Weir out front doing a very interesting cover of "Kashmir" anywhere else. Alas, the days of Elvis Costello and/or Robert Plant dropping by are probably over.
However, it's still 3 days of more music than you can hear and it's still free.

If nobody investigates or prosecutes, I guess they get away with it.
I have no confidence in Dem leadership to pursue any sort of financial crimes, as it may turn out to implicate some of their donors.
They demonstrated this clearly enough at both of the Impeachments last term.
