Failing infrastructure due to Democrat and RINO GOP rule? Yes, that is a probably too - mostly seen in deep blue -------- states and cities. The infrastructure in NYC and California are 3rd world quality. California highways are terrible because Democrats stole the gas tax for decades. California cannot build a dam or reservoirs because state leaders want droughts. They also can't build their choo-choo train despite BILLIONS wasted. Let me guess, those are all the fault of the GOP which does't have any power in the state at any level.

I am MAGA - I hate Fox News. I call Fox News fake news all the time on this very site. That is because raising minimum wage distorts market forces - it raises wages but results in increased unemployment because you end up deceasing total jobs. Deporting illegals constrains the amount of workers in the market naturally driving wages up. As the total workforce shrinks, it will naturally cause a higher rate of wage inflation throughout the labor market. So yes, prices will increase, but the positive impact on wages will surpass it. The net impact of a labor shortage is an increasing middle class - this is what drove wages up in the 1950's.

And we already have the proof this is working again under Trump has stated in the link. The even bigger benefit for the US in kicking the illegals off of the social services as well as removing displaced US workers from welfare to working. The opposite is accomplished with a higher mandated minimum wage - we just get more US workers on welfare and the illegal alien problems persist.

Again - stick to washing beakers. This economics stuff is beyond your pay grade.

Over 1M illegals have self-deported already - those illegals being removed from the labor force will result in wages increasing for Americans and the end to those illegals abusing the social services and school system.

Underemployment is VERY high - but, there are 2 factors for this. First, a lot of this is related to people 'with college degrees' working in jobs where one is not required. That is not a problem with the economy - that is a problem with the school system giving out useless degrees. Second, this is caused in part by the wage suppressing nature of the illegal aliens. For the average American - if you make $100,000/year - do you care if you use your degree or not? The US median per capita income is ~$43,000. The issue is not 'underemployment' - it is WAGES TOO LOW. So, treat the factors leading to low wages: 1.) foreign imports undercutting US products (via tariffs), 2.) discourage US firms from moving outside of the US (via regulation relief, cheap energy, and tariffs), 3.) encourage foreign firms to expand manufacturing in the US (via tariffs), and 4.) get rid of the wage suppressing illegals

Now - you may not agree that tariff work - that is a fair stance. But, you cannot state that Trump's entire economic plan is not centered around this 100% scientifically backed belief system so it doesn't make sense.
