You're not coming off as well read. Northern States had their own version of Jim Crow laws in housing, schools, employment, public accommodations, policing, and voting. "Jim Crow without the signs". There were more sundown towns in the North & Midwest than the South. Jim Crow doesn't prove the North lost the Civil War, that's retarded. What happened was a recession and the North pulling funding from their own restoration efforts.

Russia is mostly successful in its genocides and the resistance doesn't exist, deported, resettled, purged, all of the above. Eventually the line will fail, Russia has deeper reserves and good allies. Ukraine has shallow reserves and some good allies and some wafflers.

Al Udeid Airbase opened in 1996.
In 2001 we flew combat sorties out of Qatar into Afghanistan.
In 2003 US CENTCOM moved to Al Udeid in Qatar.
Al Udeid is the largest US military installation in the entire Middle East.

Decades of bipartisanship led to them purchasing F-15s and training on them, not a gifted 747.
