UNITED NATIONS (AP) " The Israeli military backtracked on its account of the killing of 15 Palestinian medics by its forces last month after phone video appeared to contradict its claims that their vehicles did not have emergency signals on when troops opened fire on them in the Gaza Strip. The military initially said it opened fire because the vehicles were "advancing suspiciously" on nearby troops without headlights or emergency signals. An Israeli military official, speaking late Saturday on condition of anonymity in line with regulations, said that account was "mistaken." read more

This week, Republican State Representative Charlie Geren put forth the Life of the Mother Act in the Texas House. A similar bill was introduced in the state Senate. While the new law wouldn't expand abortion access, it would spell out the circumstances in which doctors are allowed to provide abortion: if the woman "has a physical condition" from pregnancy that puts her "at risk of death or poses a serious risk of substantial impairment of a major bodily function unless the abortion is performed or induced."
"The government choosing not tonpromote nonsense ideas on their websites is not a violation of freedom of speech -------."
Regardless of any legal violations, you asked which sites is the government shutting down for allowing too much free speech.
The answer is still government sites.
One "platform" the GOP is trying to shut down for allowing too much free speech is a thing called "Science":
More than 1,900 scientists and engineers have signed a letter saying they "see real danger in this moment" as the Trump administration slashes federal support for scientific research.
"The quest for truth " the mission of science " requires that scientists freely explore new questions and report their findings honestly, independent of special interests," the letter says. "The administration is engaging in censorship, destroying this independence."
"A climate of fear has descended on the research community," National Academies members write in the letter. "We are sending this SOS to sound a clear warning: the nation's scientific enterprise is being decimated."

The administration released a fact sheet outlining some of its reasoning, noting that "studies have repeatedly shown tariffs are an effective tool for achieving economic and strategic objectives." Others argue that tariffs help to bring manufacturing and jobs back to the United States. While experts agree that tariffs are a powerful policy tool, they disagree on their costs and benefits. Most economists contend that companies are likely to pass on the increased cost of imported goods to consumers or stop imports all together, driving up prices. For example, in 2018, Trump imposed tariffs of 20% to 50% on washing machines imported from South Korea. As a result, prices surged by 34%, even though inflation was only 20%. Interestingly, the price of dryers also rose 34% during the same period, even though they were not subject to the tariffs. While the tariffs did lead to the creation of 1,700 to 2,000 new jobs in US washing machine manufacturing, the increased costs borne by consumers meant that the creation of each job cost roughly $815,000. The WTO has also warned that new US tariffs could contract global goods trade volumes by 1%.

"That is why pretty much why every country in the world places tariffs on our goods."
So you're just not going to consider the size and the scope of the tariffs, and how they might impact the domestic and global economy.
Didn't think so, but thanks for confirming.
