He had no reason to be there at all, except to stir trouble and provoke violence. If he came to any harm, it would have been because his own actions. The best defense is to stay far away from trouble to begin with.

'Sweep' isn't quite correct. School Boards in the two counties closest to me went more conservative. But the regressives around here tend to lag. Perhaps it will reverse here in another 5-10 years... probably too late to save the education of a generation. I'm really glad that I no longer have kids/grandkids in schools, locally.

Trump has done practically nothing to help Ukraine, no doubt at Putin's bidding.

I'm old enough to remember when many companies trained their own workers, instead of counting on the government to do it. If there aren't people qualified to do these jobs, why aren't the companies helping to school the potential employees?
