Governments coerce social media platforms into censorship for the same simple reason: That's where the objectionable speech is. Thanks to a recent Supreme Court case, in America, there's also little to stop them.

Speaking for myself I can't abide such blatant ignorance of the constitution and in particular how the first amendment has been interpreted and applied in America and will speak out against attempts at propaganda and misinformation any chance I get.
