Trump does this a lot. He behaves like he is the first person to know or discover something. Then he becomes the first person to brag about it.

Isn't he literally hawking a phone app?

Brain like mashed potatoes. Way to go, MAGATS.

"You probably don't know this (trans: I'm smarter than you), most people don't (trans: Like you, they're kinda dumb), but when they came up with the Cloud and the Zippityzoo, their best brains, smart guys supposedly (trans: Much smarter than you, but pale in comparison to ... ME), and they clicked their heels and roared, SIRRRRRRRR! What shall we call this that puts the wind turboprops to shame,' and I said, Why, the Intermet because that's where you go to meet the bimbos. So that's why it's called THE INTERMET.' I did that. Me. Same with with the phone booths, Veg-O-Matic, magic rocks, all the great stuff. You see it? That's ME. And speaking of Formula 1 racing at the Martian colony.. ."

Tells you the depths of sycophancy he's probably surrounded by.

He talks about these "phone apps" like they're a newfangled thang and they're all like "yes sir, those are very new and very cutting edge. I don't have any phone apps."

So he says it like he's special because he's told he's special by the craven, spineless POSes that latch on to him for short term gain.
