Trump Chickens Out of 60 Minutes Interview

"After initially accepting 60 Minutes' request for an interview with Scott Pelley, former President Trump's campaign has decided not to participate," the network said. The announcement was made hours before the network was scheduled to air the vice presidential debate between Ohio Sen. JD Vance and Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz.

He needs to get out there and do real interviews. He can't keep hiding in safe places with softball questions. He need to do interviews with real journalists who will ask hard questions and get answers.

Prediction: Trump will hide from public scrutiny from now until he denies election results.

One thing is clear, donOLD is only comfortable doing interviews with sycophants like Hannity, Ingraham and Gutfeld. They lob softball question at him and constantly praise him.

He cannot handle any questions that involve a detailed policy explanation and if asked a question he is not prepared for he will delve into mush brained word salad answers that revolve around things that never happened, he never did, awards he won that don't exist that don't answer the question and show perfectly how deranged and sundowning his brain really is.

He was not fit for office in 2016 and now he is not fit to be loose in public.

Any family in America would have a serious talk about taking gampy's car keys away if this was their parent.

Considering how Trump has condemned Kamala for not doing one-on-one interviews, Trump himself has not done one since last year, and now he's blown off '60 Minutes'. I think the reason for that was that he was worried that the VP debate was going to go poorly and he wanted to be free to attack CBS over that, which would have been complicated if he was still going to be doing a one-on-one with them. So he sacrificed the chance to go, in essence, back-to-back with Kamala, all so that he was free to attack the media and make them the villain in everything that's not going exactly the way he thinks that it should be going.

The man can't string 3 coherent sentences in a row anymore,
so why would Trump sit down for a long interview with the
professional interviewers at 60 minutes?

As usual, one liners and gaslighting hoo haa nonsense, laced
with many racist dog whistles, is the highlight of his campaign.
And about as much depth as you will find in his message.

What does it say when a candidate refuses to do an interview when he finds out they are going to fact check his answers?
