KCTV: Kim says blasting removes 'unreasonable' idea of reunification with South
www3.nhk.or.jp

... North Korea's state-run TV reports that leader Kim Jong Un has said his country's blasting of roads and railways connected to South Korea means not only their physical closure but also the removal of the "useless awareness about fellow countrymen and unreasonable idea of reunification."

Korean Central Television reported on Friday that Kim inspected an army corps headquarters the previous day and was briefed on the combat readiness of the corps' brigades.

He reportedly showed his readiness to resort to a hardline approach if his country's sovereignty is violated by the South.

North Korea is believed to have revised its Constitution last week at the Supreme People's Assembly to define South Korea as the "No.1 hostile country." ...

"This is not A Good Trend."

How so?

Reunification was never imagined to be collaborative; it was a plan that was developed when parity between NorK and SouK was closer, and the NorKs though they might be able to overrun and subjugate the south. This development shows to me that the NorKs realize they are overmatched, and the LoC's they are destroying represent more of a threat from the south than an opportunity for themselves.
