What if Biden was the better candidate all along?

With the Nov. 5 election just over a fortnight away, here is an intriguing thought experiment. By most accounts, the election is still a horse race too close to call. But although Vice President Kamala Harris quickly assumed the presidential mantle from Joe Biden and put in place an impressive start-up, October has not been particularly kind to her. Donald Trump has closed the electoral gaps, and some believe he is actually leading.

I'm of two minds on this topic.

Part of me think the Democratic Party over reacted to the July debate, Trump is a constant shht show and republicans have never wavered in their support for him.

Had Biden made more public appearances after that debate to prove to the nation that night was a fluke, he could possibly be in a better position than Harris currently is.

But then there's the fact republicans are better at messaging than democrats and they would have used that debate to attack Biden, every day since. Also. I'm not sure if Biden is doing better than he was that day.

The election is in two weeks. Best of luck to America.
