"Much of the gains for the ultra-rich come down to a surge in US stocks, underscoring bets that Trump, on his return to the White House, will implement an agenda favoring lower taxes and less regulation."

Once the GOP has run the Country into the ground, people will elect a Dem again to clean up the mess they made with yuuge tax cuts for the very wealthy and pat on the head for their Trump Cult voters.

A cycle that has been going on for at least half a century now... Republicans F it up, and Dems clean it up.

So, their recent political donations were essentially no cost to themselves. Starting to see how they've gamed the system?

True, Blue.

Musk et al were making investments... which are already profitable.

It seems that offering million dollar prizes for people to vote is also a winner.

They've actually made that the rule with Citizens United and making money equal speech.

Many of the Founding Fathers were men of means. However, they did not codify their wealth as a means to control the nascent republic. Where are such men of wisdom/character these days ...

"Musk alone added $26.5 billion to his pot."

That's an awfully good profit on merely a $200 or so million investment. Including the public bribes to voters.

And you know what... that alone makes it right and fair, moral and legal these days; if you make a lot of money, you must be a worthy human being, eh?

And when Yeltsin and Putin took over, they gave over the entire old Soviet Union that they still controlled to the billionaire oligarchs, and clearly that is what is happening. We don't run our country, we are refugees without passport, in effect. Can you afford your rent? The billionaires own tens of houses, own everything and everyone, and soon that will be very, very apparent.

------- and the richest man in the world were --------- each other on stage.

You are too stupid to ever realize ------- will never do ---- for you.

Did you buy his sneakers? or his watches? Did you contribute to republican causes that went directly into his legal defense funds.

I am honestly curious how you will blame democrats and liberals for the economic hardship you will inevitably suffer under -------.
