A million blessings upon her. Sadly, I'll wager she has already received death threats. Watching King Dotard II squirm, slouch, fiddle with his program, say snarky comments to his spouse, and generally look like he was seconds away from bolting were marvelous to see. He couldn't argue back (until the dark of the night), and no one could speak in his defense. Phony Catholic JV and his wife were like the others, sitting like stones, amazed at the wisdom spoken, with the veil lifted from their eyes--if only for a second...

I wanted to pray for Trump and the GOP, especially since the election in November but I wanted my prayers to be sincere, so I thought for a long time about how to pray for them. In the end I settled on praying that they would be blessed with gifts of the Holy Spirit like wisdom and compassion. I hadn't thought about mercy, but, yes, that is also a Christian quality I can get behind asking they be blessed with.

She said what needed to be said, despite knowing the reaction she'd get. She spoke without the cruelty that Trump and his allies use every day. She spoke of mercy and empathy, qualities that MAGA lacks. No wonder, then, that the usual suspects here mock her.
