A deposit of high-quality gold ore containing around 1,000 metric tons (1,100 US tons) of the precious metal has been discovered in central China, according to Chinese state media.
China discovers the world's largest gold deposit in Hunan province, estimated to hold 1,000 tonnes of gold worth over $80 billion. Geologists found over 40 veins, with initial drilling confirming 300 tonnes and further modeling suggesting an additional 700 tonnes. #News
