Florida No. 1 in book censorship, No. 47 in SAT scores. Dropping every year since 2017. Not hard to understand when you teach revisionist history, lead the nation in book bans & even math word problems are changed for being too woke. DeSantis should never be in a Federal (or any) Government position

The college ratings from WSJ and US News & World Report are reasonable guides for academic quality and rigor among US colleges. Just like in Okiehomie, the Sunshine State is barren when it comes to top academic schools, and doesn't raise much attention for schools in the middle of the peloton. One need not go far north to find such schools in the South (e.g., Emory, GA Tech, Duke, UNC, Vandy) but one must leave the state...

Florida is Republican Party central, for years it has voted for the far right, to "protect" the white supremacists, the "christianity is the law of the land" folks.
And slowly the sea reclaims the coastline as those idiot Republican Party members also decline to admit human caused global warming.
Kind of awesome really, to be so incredibly powerfully stupid and dangerous at the same time.
