Harvard, Penn and U.S.C. were among the universities and colleges that issued advisories in anticipation of possible travel bans.

The imminent arrival of a second Trump administration, and its promised hard focus on immigration, is driving concern not only in migrant communities in Philadelphia and around the United States, but also on American campuses that collectively host more than 1.1 million foreign students.

Trump had guard rails in 2016. He also didn't have the SCOTUS he created giving him immunity over "official acts", and he had to worry about reelection. None of that is the case now, as his cabinet is totally full of sycophants.

The only thing that's going to stop trump now is his own incompetence.

The Texas universities where I live are religous and red-necked. They nonetheless depend on foreign students and actively recruit thousands of them. It will be interesting to see how they fare over the next several years.

Oh, and the local industries. They hire the illegal migrants.
