Trump Staff 'furious' after Musk Trashes AI Project

Some of President Donald Trump's key aides and allies are furious with Elon Musk for publicly trashing his $500 billion artificial intelligence mega-deal.

President Donald Trump shrugged off an ugly back-and-forth between tech CEOs Elon Musk and Sam Altman that pitted one of Trump's most visible lieutenants against a key participant in a massive $500 billion AI project Trump announced Tuesday.

"The problem is the president doesn't have any leverage over him and Elon gives zero -----."

No one could have seen that coming. Lewzer is scared -------- of his Senior Co-President, and he's stuck with him.

If anybody remembers Trump's first term, he often and deliberately created chaos by pitting staff members against each other so no one but himself would know which way he was going to go.

This sounds like another wash, rinse and repeat, typical of how Trump makes his staff grovel for his attention.

So, what are you going to do about it? Just suck it up; it's going to get worse.

Name me things that AI cannot do, and compare it to the list that AI can, or will shortly do...
People who will be losing jobs include lawyers, teachers, doctors, truck drivers, sex workers..and politicians if we just give up and let AI run everything. It will certainly be our war fighting military within ten our so years...

"politicians"???

Considering what our U.S. Supreme Court has turned into, losing their jobs to AI would be a step up.

Musk has a personal vendetta against OpenAI as when he was on the board of directors, he attempted to take over the company and the board voted him out of his board seat.

I think the Chinese effectively did this with thier latest release.

@fresno500, DeepSeek R1 is certainly interesting.

Sets a new standard in efficiency for non-opensource models to learn from. OpenAI, Meta, Google, etc, likely have their LLM folks reviewing the DeepSink model around-the-clock to look for new efficiencies for running their proprietary models.

DeepSeek*, of course.

(I have sinks on the mind as I'm searching for sink styles as a kitchen weekend project).
