Denny's will Charge Extra for Orders Containing Eggs

Denny's is the latest breakfast chain to charge extra for orders containing eggs, an ever-costlier commodity in short supply due to the killing of millions of egg-laying hens as a result of bird flu.

In a new op-ed published in the Wall Street Journal, US Department of Agriculture Secretary Brooke Rollins outlined a new strategy she says will mitigate the spread of bird flu and lower the price of eggs. cnn.it/43cMgsQ

Heaven forbid a major corporation would allow lower profits during a national crisis.
I remember well after 9/11 when planes were grounded and folks were stuck in the Orlando airport sleeping on the floor and going hungry for days as the in-airport hotel had empty rooms and the airport restaurants still charged.
This country is a disgrace.

I'm hearing that Trump never promised to lower prices.

From MAGA.

Amazing how quickly they adapted to not having eggs and bacon.

"When I win, I will immediately bring prices down, starting on Day One."

This was complete horse manure uttered for one reason only: to rile the ignorant rubes. (see idiots like lfthndturds)

There was never any intention to address the issue, other than to intentionally make it worse.

The nooner idiots were celebrating how cheap eggs and gas would be once Trump won.

Now, they're busy telling themselves they never liked eggs anyway.

That's because they have enough on their faces to last for awhile. They don't need to buy more.

Oh, he made that promise. I don't know why though. I was told he was inheriting one of the strongest economies ever.

Obviously every business is subject to higher costs in certain sectpors due to supply chain issues and other factors. Rarely but not always are surcharges broadly applied unless energy.

When bad things happen the world recognizes Biden caused it.

I worked on a book years ago that featured a few pages on Denny's. They were rebranding to make the food look and taste better. Well, yeah, good move if you're a restaurant.

Robson, you've lost it.
