Denny's is the latest breakfast chain to charge extra for orders containing eggs, an ever-costlier commodity in short supply due to the killing of millions of egg-laying hens as a result of bird flu.

In a new op-ed published in the Wall Street Journal, US Department of Agriculture Secretary Brooke Rollins outlined a new strategy she says will mitigate the spread of bird flu and lower the price of eggs. cnn.it/43cMgsQ

Heaven forbid a major corporation would allow lower profits during a national crisis.
I remember well after 9/11 when planes were grounded and folks were stuck in the Orlando airport sleeping on the floor and going hungry for days as the in-airport hotel had empty rooms and the airport restaurants still charged.
This country is a disgrace.
