Not playing square with a federal judge is a great way for a lawyer to ruin their career and reputation. Not being able to argue a case in federal court is a black mark against a lawyer, and being held in suspicion by ANY judge is an easy way out of the profession. The attorneys who appeared run the risk of losing their job, or royally honking off the judge, in which case they lose in court, then lose their jobs. Remember: El Rey Dotardo II is not a trained lawyer, and his late pal Roy Cohn was a bully at all times, in all circumstances. Trump thinks all lawyers should act in a similar manner, not realizing how detrimental such actions can be to the case...

I would agree.

My view:

A lawyer is an Officer of the Court. Period. Full stop.

While the lawyer can, and should, represent the interests of their client, the bottom line is that the lawyer is an Officer of the Court, and prevaricating and/or dissembling is not something that a lawyer should do.

... At the state and federal levels, the professional conduct of these lawyers is or has been at issue in disciplinary proceedings, in proceedings for sanctions, or is serving as a factual predicate for their criminal prosecutions.

It is possible that these attorneys or others may face similar exposure in additional proceedings, but the proceedings reviewed here illuminate some of the risks of representing Trump and other clients who advance spurious factual and legal claims regarding the 2020 presidential election.

It's cute that the judge still thinks the law matters for republicans.

INCOMING: NEW ARTICLES OF IMPEACHMENT

I'm drafting articles of impeachment for U.S. District Judge Amir H. Ali. Yet another PARTISAN ACTIVIST attempting to weaponize his position to block President Trump from cutting wasteful foreign funding.

Accountability is key.

Not smart to talk about Elon Musk like that.

As for judges. If we don't vote for them, then, why are they on the ballots?
