I looked into an alternative med.
Retail cost $880, my cost with insurance $600.

I'll stick with the first line defense until it fails, at those prices.

Well, the funding mechanism is insurance.

That's the only funding mechanism that makes sense. Because most people don't need open heart surgery, but most people who do need it can't afford it without insurance. Without financial help from all those who don't need it.

What you are asking for is non-profit insurance.
