New Strain of Bird Flu Wipes Out Mississippi Poultry

A new strain of a highly pathogenic bird flu known as H7N9 has surfaced at a poultry farm in Mississippi where chickens are raised for breeding.

There is only a single staffer remaining in the White House Office of Pandemic Preparedness and Response Policy. This report comes today alongside a new report of H7N9 avian flu among a flock in Mississippi (the first H7N9 report since 2017).

How is it only America is seeing such an epidemic?

Other countries, including Mexico and Canada, are doing just fine.

"None of the birds entered the food supply."

Our anti-vaxx head of FDA will soon correct that unprofitable policy mistake.

Heroin Bob and his junkie cohort at HHS want bird flu to run rampant, so as to identify the survivor Super Chickens. Of course, that's a USDA call, and he with the dilated pupils doesn't run the USDA--yet. Imagine a country where highly infectious disease runs rampant, causing the annihilation of a major portion of the business of agriculture, and a major food source for millions. Most Americans would be very concerned, and would expect their government to act, so as to prevent this scourge from arriving in the US. Wake up--the scourge is here and those in government are actively abetting its spread...

What's so interesting and tragic about all of this is that prior to Trump, no Republican was actually stupid enough to follow through on all of their government is bad rhetoric. Trump is actually doing what republicans have always said they wanted and now they and the rest of us have to live with the consequences. Republicans are the only ones that can fix this but it will come at a price that they are unwilling to accept: acknowledgement that they have lied for decades about the benefits of federal government. The real reason for their lies is the success of the civil rights movement. They realized that the federal government was big enough and strong enough to IMPOSE it's will on the states and the states didn't like it.

That god the USDA laid off all those people working on the bird flu.

"prior to Trump, no Republican was actually stupid enough to follow through on all of their government is bad rhetoric."

That's right!

Remember the 62 times the Republican House voted to repeal Obamacare, but the Republican Senate never followed through.

Republicans have gotten stupider.
