I wouldn't be surprised if the EU and the Commonwealth countries began special asylum programs for fired US intelligence personnel (as well as these NIH, CDC, FDA, USDA, NASA, NOAA researchers). What country wouldn't want an influx of experts from the FBI, NASA, or CIA? This would be the reverse of the WWII US Operation Paperclip: www.britannica.com
