Elon Musk hopes for 'zero tariff situation' with Europe

Onehour ago #elonmusk #tariffs #europe Elon Musk appeared to split from the Trump administration on tariffs " as he lashed out at trade adviser Peter Navarro and said he hoped for a "zero tariff situation" between the US and Europe. ...

I'm no fan of Musk but I agree with him about Europe and we should do the same with all of our other friends like Japan, S. Korea, Mexico and, of course, Canada! Trump is/was CRAZY! to start an unnecessary trade war to "bring the jobs back to America" Doesn't it occur to anyone that we have pretty much enough jobs for anyone who wants to work. Unemployment when Biden left office was around 3%. And that was before he started deporting the immigrants from south of the border who did all the jobs most Americans don't want to do, Even former Trump supporting ranchers and farmers are now whining that they can't operate their agricultural businesses without those workers Trump is deporting. Americans need to wake up; Trump doesn't want to deport those people to make more jobs for Americans; no he wants to deport them because " immigrants are poisoning the blood of our country." Hate to break the news to him but that ship has sailed. Interracial marriage and the children of those marriages are now normal in our society and Trump can't change that but, apparently, he can make hard lives of poor immigrants who are willing and able to work hard even harder just out of pure meanness! Most of my adult life I have worked among immigrant workers from all of Latin America and the Carribbean. Virtually all learned English as quickly as they could, are law abiding, and really good people. Trump's tarriff policies are ridiculous and just flat out stupid. They really aren't economic policies; they are retribution policies. He wants to punish foreign manufacturers for building superior products that Americans prefer over the American made products.

Herr Musk hopes he still has two pennies to rub together after Trump's Tariffs Presidency.

Like the rest of the world, Elon will just have to wait for Lewzer to pull the plug on his tariffs. Probably Monday morning after the Saudis tune him up at his LIV golf adventure.

BTW, Lewzer won yet another tournament at his own course this weekend.

Zero tariff? Why stop there?

He should demand a negative tariff for Tesla. Make US taxpayers pay Europeans to take each CyberYuck off of his hands.

Isn't that what he should expect since he bought our government for $200 million in the last election?

In the policy disagreement regarding Tariff's, Navarro is wildly wrong on this subject and Musk is right. Tariff's need to be removed on both ends to bolster trade between ourselves and Europe.

Economic interdependence is the key to long term peace among nations. Trump's idiotic tariffs on China actually make us less safe by reducing the economic benefits China enjoys by trading with the United States. No nation ever wanI Trump mindts to go to war against their biggest customer. Donald Trump needs to go back to high school but this time he needs to actually read his history book. I'm having a debate in my head; is Trump crazy or just real stupid, or both?
