The US military strikes on three of Iran's nuclear facilities last weekend did not destroy the core components of the country's nuclear program and likely only set it back by months, according to an early US intelligence assessment that was described by four people briefed on it.

All people are getting out of the DIA report is a speculative worst case scenario which is misleading at best.

1) Some of it. The hunt isn't over. The idea it's a surgical one & done is hollywood & politics, not reality.

2) Many of them. In the range of 20,000. Also, the ability to produce more centrifuges has been destroyed, along with the uranium conversion facility, and uranium metal plant. Overlay the facilities maps on the MOP holes, note the explosive effect at the tunnel entrances from the MOPs, and note the thermobaric effect. The centrifuge and equipment halls are ---- at Fordow.

You can't dig back into Natanz & Fordow when an F-35 can show up at any moment and drop a pair of GBUs on you and your equipment.

I think it's prudent to be highly skeptical of what this, or any, administration puts out to the public when it comes to this type of event. I also think it's prudent to be highly skeptical of what CNN and Bertrand report on this. "Described by 4 people briefed on it." Briefed by whom? Right now, I don't know how successful this bomb strike was. I'm hearing rumors that some uranium was moved out of the facility. However, enriched uranium isn't particularly effective without a delivery system and other bits of technology contained at Fordow. I will say that knowing the capability of bunker buster bombs I'm pretty confident that whatever equipment and technology that was buried in that mountain is likely destroyed beyond repair.
