Trump Admin Continues Purge of Military

The USMC removed Col. Mark D. Bortnem from his position after deciding he was unfit to lead. Col. Bortnem was relieved of his duties as commanding officer of Marine Corps Air Station Beaufort and reassigned to duties at Marine Corps Recruit Depot Parris Island. "This decision was made due to a loss of trust and confidence in Bortnem's ability to command." The top enlisted leader for the 20,000-person AFSOC was also relieved of duty for "loss in confidence in his ability to fulfill his duties." Command Chief Master Sgt. Anthony Green was fired as the command chief and reassigned outside of AFSOC headquarters at Hurlburt Field, FL pending the outcome of an investigation. Officials would not comment on the nature of the investigation. taskandpurpose.com The investigations may determine these two senior military leaders dislike Dotard Trumpf and SECDEF Pete Hogsbreath.

I'm not sure what any of this has to do with a purge. If you're an officer who has been in 15-20 years, you're going to have peers who have been relieved of command.

A close friend of mine was relieved of command because the dudes in his squadrons were drawing dicks in the sky over Syria. Basically, flying in a pattern so that when you downloaded the post mission data, the flight path for the sortie would look like a dick. That ---- has been going on since Afghanistan. Many a Colonel, and even a General here or there, drew dicks over Afghanistan.

Purges and shakeups continue under the Trumpf junta. This one is Signalgate-related.

"There is a complete meltdown in the building," one official said.

Stalin and Hitler used to enjoy purging their militaries of Officers they considered insufficiently loyal to them. Now we have Trump doing it.

Move along. Nothing to see here.

#14: I'm glad I retired. I made enough enemies when I argued against torture decades ago, what the GOP back then called "enhanced interrogation" (e,g, water-boarding). Under the Trumpf junta, I would have been kicked out on the first day, despite my experience and expertise in certain fields. Here's a sample of what I fought against years ago: uploads-ssl.webflow.com

Stalin purged the soviet military just before Hitler invaded and almost lost the war.

Every Commander changes personnel when he takes command.

Hell, over my 3 commands, I did the same thing.

But I guess to many of those who never served or understood what it means to command, this is a big thing. You are just ignorant of the military and how it's supposed to work.

Msgt: even if you believe what breibart claims ( and why would you) that works out to under 20 a year. Trump's hit that number in a couple of months.

"You are just ignorant of the military and how it's supposed to work."

LOL.

For starters, the Secretary of Defense isn't supposed to plan operations on an unsecure platform with journalists in the chat.

It's pathetic to see you defend this drunken fool purging the ranks of career officers over their personal political beliefs.

You must have had such a useless career in the military that you truly believe experience doesn't matter for much.
