North Korea Gets a Weapons Bonanza from Russia

Kim Jong-un seized on Russia's need for support in its war against Ukraine. His reward is a rapidly modernizing military that threatens the delicate balance of power on the Korean Peninsula.

The United States and 10 allies on Thursday said the military cooperation between Russia and North Korea flagrantly violates United Nations sanctions and has helped Moscow increase its missile strikes on Ukrainian cities.

I'm Shocked that Vlad and Kim are blatantly and flagrantly violating UN sanctions in military deals.

Shocked, I tells ya!

Im sorry, but this seems like nonsense.

Russian military equipment has proven to be antiquated s^*%.

Is it an upgrade for NK? Sure.

Is it a threat to a modern US equipment armed SK?

Iran can make nukes now...
Kim and Vlad are sitting in a tree...
Xi did tarriff TaiChi on Trumpanzee...

Yeah... this is a much better plan than anything Obama or Biden came up with the "working with our allies" goofiness...

I find some irony in people blathering on about the inferiority of Russian weapons... as if it makes a difference...

Both Russia and the US got butt hurt in Afghanistan... the US with superior military weapons blah blah blah... fought twice as long too... weeweewee all the way home.

A few guys with box cutters flattened the Twin Towers... inserted a jet into the Pentagon.

Li'l Kim needs to ask for a boat with guns that shoot, and maybe some sailors too ...

When the claim is that it will upset the power balance between the Koreas ...

It's not blathering. Acting as if Russian equipment isn't third world garbage is the same as acting as if the Noem made an "mistake" when she said habeus corpus is a POTUS constitutional right.

It's just regurgitating a narrative based on outdated information and thinking.

Little Kim is selling his soldiers to Russia in exchange for almost modern weapons.

Russian fiber optic drones change the balance of power in favor of NK on the DMZ.

Kim might have a huge army, but its infantry was armed as if it would fight another Korean War. What it learned in the Russian trenches in Ukraine is that it needs to modernize the equipment its land forces have in the future. The sad prospect is that Kim's gulag death camps might be employed to make in volume the field weaponry that both Putin and Kim need to suppress their own independent-minded threats to their dictatorship's social order and to invade and subjugate their neighboring nations.
