Judge Rules Against Trump's NIH Grant Cuts

A federal judge in Boston has ruled that the U.S. National Institutes of Health (NIH) must immediately restore approximately 400 grants touching on politically sensitive topics that it abruptly canceled earlier this year.

NEW: A federal judge ruled on Monday that the termination of hundreds of grants by the NIH was "void and illegal." "This represents racial discrimination, and discrimination against America's LGBTQ community," he said. "I would be blind not to call it out." www.propublica.org/article/trum ...

This represents racial discrimination and discrimination against America's LGBTQ community. I would be blind not to call it out," said Young, who was appointed by former US president Ronald Reagan, a Republican. "I've been on the bench for 40 years " I've never seen government racial discrimination like this."

The demented sack of---------- is as racist as he is traitorous.

Why isn't this the legal basis of the Judges opinion?

Also it might be true, but I don't see any article confirming your assertion.

"Why isn't this the legal basis of the Judges opinion?"

According to the article, the judge deemed the obvious racial and orientation discrimination was sufficient. Especially since the cancellations were "capricious", i.e., had no real-world bearing to relative validity.
