Trump Fails at Lowering the Cost of Beef

California Governor Gavin Newsom has mocked Donald Trump over the president's promise to "immediately" lower food costs once back in the White House.

More

"Once it kicks in--once our policies kick in--the price of beef will be going down. Just like the price of eggs went down. And the price of a lot of other grocery items went down, beef will go down. It'll all go down." You sure about that, bud? www.dailykos.com/stories/2025 ...

Behold my works ye mortals and despair.

"the average cost of ground beef in July 2025 hit $6.25 a pound"

Fess up, MAGA.

None of you are eating as well since Trump got into office.

Here's a trick---

Swallow a handful or raw rice before bedtime and chase it down with a cup of warm water.

The grains will swell in your belly and trick your brain into feeling full.

Considering the Trump administration has driven out the people who gave us our food, the future for this nation is bleak.

As I have stated, buy directly from the grass fed rancher, use a local butcher. Its much cheaper.

The beef situation isn't like eggs where everyone expected the prices to start coming down once avian flu was contained and new egg layers came of age to replace those that were culled. Trump isn't smart enough to understand the complexity of the marker nor is he open to the idea that his actions have made the situation by deporting experienced industry labor and driving up the prices further with tariffs on imports.

TRUMP hasn't lowered the cost of ANYTHING.

Cattle producers (not packers, that's a different discussion) can benefit from some high prices.

Good years and bad years is the norm. Bad years over a decade is not going to feed the kids, let alone the cows.
