TikTok will live on for at least another three months in the United States, as President Donald Trump is poised to extend a sale or ban deadline for the third time since taking office this year.

US President Donald Trump signalled that he would give TikTok's Chinese parent company another 75 days to find an American buyer for the platform or face a nationwide ban. But why all the extensions?

It is clear that when it comes to China and Russia that there will always be a new deadline when it comes to deadline time.
