Four people are dead, and more than half a dozen are sick, after contracting a rare "flesh-eating bacteria" in Florida this year, state health officials confirmed.

However, bear in mind, FL is swarming in gators and there are plenty of saltwater crocs in the south.

Had to look this up, because saltwater crocs are an Asian/Aussie thing.
The ones in Florida aren't "saltwater crocs" they are American Crocs and there's only 1500, to 2000 of them.
Snakes, gators, and now crocs too? Thankfully, I've never had a desire to wade the Everglades. Beach or hotel pool for me.
