A rare and violent thunderstorm complex is roaring across the upper Midwest overnight from Monday into Tuesday.

We are in the northern part of the yellow. Didn't even lose a leaf. Impressive lightning display at dusk.
From what I understand didn't really develop into a true Derecho.

It was almost 70 degrees here yesterday! That was crazy I tells ya.

Global warming has been very very good for the Lost Coast. (So far.)

95 degrees here now, with a dewpoint of 71.

The electric company has reduced the voltage to 112-113 volts, instead of its usual 120 volts.

The grid is straining....
