Houston Oil Giant Will Lay Off 25% of Workers

Houston-based oil giant ConocoPhillips revealed on Wednesday its plan to lay off up to a quarter of its global workforce--potentially impacting 2,600 to 3,250 employees and contractors--as part of a sweeping restructuring aimed at cutting costs.
