OK, taking a step back here ...

A top Trump admin negotiator seems to be talking directly with Pres Putin's team to discuss how to kill a sovereign Ukraine so that Pres Trump can win the Nobel Peace Prize?

Have I summed that up correctly?

For those who oppose the Russian invasion and want to see Ukraine prevail as a sovereign & democratic country, it is clear that Witkoff fully favors the Russians. He cannot be trusted to lead these negotiations. Would a Russian paid agent do less than he? He should be fired.

so that Pres Trump can win the Nobel Peace Prize?

That is the only objective.

@#4 ... That is the only objective. ...

Last I checked, the Nobel Committee does not have a Nobel Surrender Prize.

Though, I may be wrong on that.

Never before in US history has a president tried to sabotage a free nation to impress an anti-democracy dictator. Welcome to Trump world.

Dumbkopf -------- Witkoff! A travesty.

There must be something really, really awful if he's going to all that trouble to hide a Rusky "watersports" tape.

"That is the only objective."

Short term perhaps. But giving Russia a permission slip to start WWIII in Eastern Europe hardly defines the word "Peace."

Putin in still intent on creating his own legacy as a glorious leader who restored the U.S.S.R. to its former power and glory.

And if all of Europe stands in his way, so be it.

Short term perhaps.

That's the only way Lewzer thinks.

Isn't it just a little embarrassing for the Republican Party to have a President who is like a five year old, needs praise and constant bowing and kissing of his ring?
Happened when the Soviet Union fell, happened when the Roman Empire fell, empires tend to fall the same way as more and more wealth concentrates into fewer and fewer hands, and power concentrates as well and the worst of humanity rises to the top of the insanity...

Yup.

The huge cue for me to that conclusion is Pres Putin's insistence that Ukraine cannot be a part of NATO.

That, to me, indicates, he has future plans.
