What Trump Posted on Truth Social Should Force Him to Resign

This should be the straw that breaks the camels back, Trump viewing his actions against American cities as if they were some sort of war on the citizens of the United States, complete with helicopter gunships and napalm.

Insisting a surge of federal Immigration and Customs Enforcement will occur in Chicago, U.S. Border Czar Tom Homan warned anti-ICE activists "you're going to jail" if they cross the line from peaceful protests and suggested instead they should rally against Congress.

Shoot Back.

The Second Amendment is there for this moment.

Every Republican I ever knew said that Gun rights are about preventing tyranny.

This is Pure Tyranny with the cover Off.

America is splitting in two.

-------- and not --------. At some point everyone will have to pick sides.

Am I for Equal Protection under the Law?

Or am I for Arbitrary and Capricious Lawlessness toward targeted Groups under Color of Law?

This Won't End Peacefully.

Buy a GUN, learn to shoot straight.

This isn't over...

Not Russian. HATE TRUMP. Think NATO is a trip wire for War.

You Sir,are an Idiot.

Look --------, don't pretend we don't remember your endless ass licking of the war criminal Putin and his unlawful invasion of a sovereign nation. Much like the fake -----, nothing you say is true. ---- off, you minor troll.

As if Vlad needed a trip wire to do what he's always said he would do; take back ALL of the former Russian Empire.

"There's not a whole lot of nuance here. It was Vladimir Putin's determination to essentially re-establish the Russian imperial state, in a somewhat different form, but to either completely neutralize Ukraine or really to absorb it.

And his own writings before the war make that very clear."

Not Our problem.

Not our Responsibility either.

If the European States had not let Uncle Sam dominate them and "Protect" them for 80 years they would be More able to take on their own Responsibilities.

NATO IS OBSOLETE. Nato provokes War, it doesn't prevent it obviously.

If the Western Alliance's Word and Treaties were of any Value whatsoever they would have ended NATO in 1990 just like the Russians disbanded the Warsaw Pact.

But NO the Arms deals were just too Valuable to the American MIC.

NATO created demand for American Arms.

That's it's True Purpose.

Now those Arms have shown themselves to be OVERRATED.

Russia beat the West anyway.

In order to limit the proliferation of nuclear weapons after WWII, the US promised to protect Europe from the USSR with its nuclear arsenal under NATO (1949). The UK was already underway with its atomic bomb and France was determined to have its own. The same agreement was reached with post-WWII Japan. Canada fell under NATO and NORAD, so they too had more money to spend on domestic issues, rather than WMDs, battleships, nuclear submarine, or aircraft carriers, unlike the US. In the early 1960s Ottawa introduced universal healthcare-- each province in charge of its own.

With Europe and Japan unburdened to develop WMDs like the US, and with the Marshall Plan, Europe reconstructed and spent its money on their citizens, like universal healthcare. Vladimir Putin advised Dummkopf Trumpf to tap into the "anger" that the Europeans weren't pulling their "fair share," which worked with the MAGAts. But our NATO and Asian allies supported US military operations to make up for our nuclear umbrella: ROKs served in Vietnam and Iraq; ISAF had every NATO ally participate. Most of our allies supported the Iraq War blunders (Canada didn't in OIF, but supported anti-ISIS operations in Syria roughly a decade ago).

All those words to obfuscate from the fact that Vlad would be taking back the states that made up the Russian Empire whether NATO existed or not... and if they didn't exist, he would have done so already.

Blaming Nato for Putin's Invasion of Ukraine is asinine excuse making and always has been.

#10 | Posted by Corky at 2025-09-06 05:19 PM

Maybe.

Ukraine Can't escape from Russia.

Just like Canada can't escape from the US.

Given the same stakes and conditions the US would invade Canada no matter who was POTUS.

Putin isn't the problem.

Geopolitics is.

Europe is Reponsible for their own Security.

The whole postwar era has been about America using its position to Dominate everyone else.

Those Days have ended.

The New Dispensation is in Flux but America isn't the absolute top dog any longer.

World War is a realistic thing Again and the winners are not preordained.

Nothing is.

- Putin isn't the problem.

Putin invaded a sovereign state neighbor in a war more on civilians than military targets; he did the same thing in Syria, and he's a terrorist... which is definitely a problem.

None of your obfuscations about world powers is going to make that OK.
