Jonathan Alpert said he'd "even go so far as to call this a mental health epidemic."

Fox News TV tumor Jonathan Alpert: "Yeah, Tommy, it's interesting that there was once a time where people admired the rich and we aspired to be rich, but some people on the far left don't seem to be doing that.

And I'd like to get back to a time where we do that. There's always a villain, and that's the problem with the far left. It seems like they always need an object to hate, a villain, and it's not really helping them.

I would say it's making, creating mental health issues, whether it's high anxiety or depression or just hatred towards people around them.

And they really need to try to move away from that and try to be inspired by people that are wealthy and learn how to be self-sufficient.

And sure, of course, there are times when people do need government help, but there should be a striving to get better and be self-sufficient."

"self-sufficient."

Anyone think that this describes Donald?

"there was once a time where people admired the rich and we aspired to be rich"

Most people are aware that's not a realistic aspiration for them any more.

Because Since 1975, practically all the gains in household income have gone to the top 20% of households.

Jesus wept.

"...it's interesting that there was once a time where people admired the rich..."

This is horse manure.

I know how to make it easier to admire the rich!

If we take their guillotined heads and put them on pikes for everyone to see and admire, it'll be so much easier!

The Working Class Should Be Kinder to Oligarchs

And the world can't wait to see how effectively that plays out in Venezuela!

inspired by people that are wealthy and learn how to be self-sufficient

There is an oxymoron residing in there, somewhere.

I'm sure things were swell when everyone was kissing the Rockefeller's and Mellon's and Carnegie's asses. Also, Horatio Alger IS A ------- MYTH.

As many of us have been saying for years, the rich are doing what they can to return us to, first, the 1950's, and then the 1850's, when a few old rich white men owned it all.

Rockefeller's and Mellon's and Carnegie's

Yeah, but look what they did with (some of) their money compared to the current ilk. Research universities, for example, that still exist. Whether they can operate now is another story.

I don't think anyone admires the rich. People just want the money.
