Europe has 'maybe 6 weeks of jet fuel left'

Europe has "maybe six weeks or so (of) jet fuel left," the head of the International Energy Agency said Thursday in a wide-ranging Associated Press interview, warning of possible flight cancellations "soon" if oil supplies remain blocked by the Iran war. IEA Executive Director Fatih Birol painted a sobering picture of the global repercussions of what he called "the largest energy crisis we have ever faced," stemming from the pinch-off of oil, gas and other vital supplies through the Strait of Hormuz.

And good-for-no-one multimillionaire oligarch hypocrite Scott Bessent-- US Secretary of the Treasury -- referred to this chokepoint strangling the global economy as the the "Strait of Vermouth."

Well, I'd say that this is the start of Trump's Recession.

Chaos? Trump is doing a magnificent job attacking our nation and allies while strengthening Russia.

How Russia and China are winning the war in Iran
The expanding war in Iran is disrupting, if not devastating, the global economy. Meanwhile, the sound of silence from normally voluble leaders of China and Russia is telling. From their point of view, silence is the best way for them to let Washington entangle itself in a protracted war in the Middle East, opening space to expand the influence of President Vladimir Putin of Russia in Europe and for President Xi Jinping of China in the Indo-Pacific.

You're right. In addition to Trump's natural ignorance and fecklessness, we can't forget the ignorance and fecklessness he's being paid/blackmailed to produce.
