Hi Laura. Hope you're doing well. Glad to see you don't like Trump.

This case should be entertaining.

The decision of Colorado SC left very little offramps for the SC to exit this case favorable to Sh*tler.

1. He's not an officer of the US which is a laffable assumption.

2. He didn't swear an oath to support the Constitution which is also laffable.

3. He didn't participate in an insurrection.

insurrection
/ins'rekSH(')n/
noun
noun: insurrection; plural noun: insurrections

a violent uprising against an authority or government.
"the insurrection was savagely put down"

We all saw it. His refusal to call off his goons for hours while people died, property was destroyed and lives were threatened all in the name of stopping the government from certifying the election. The testimony that he was watching it live and was happier than a pig in ---- that people were doing this for him. The testimony that he KNEW his gang of thugs were armed. His giving aid and comfort to the insurrectionists after this calling them political prisoners, promising to pardon them and now calling them hostages are easy examples of him giving aid an comfort to the enemies of the US. Sporkfoot is on the hook for this too.

I don't see much wiggle room for the SC to rule that 14-3 doesn't apply to the office of the President.

That's why one or more of them will pull a fascist rabbit out of a hat.

What the rest of us have going for us is that rabbit may be too obvious for even a fascist to grab, for fear of the personal political repercussions.

The funny thing is it was Kagan and Brown Jackson who appeared to be the most skeptical and asked the toughest questions.
