Mar a Lardo would be a great location for Didney after Trumpty Dumpty goes to prison.

Melania will sell it cheap.

And when I say Melania will sell it cheap, I mean Mar a Lardo, not anything else she sells.

Disney isn't stupid so I have a feeling this announcement is made so they can cancel it in a few weeks and blame Deathsantis. And part of that reason, aside from Deathsantis, is Disney knows that they can never get a proper ROI on anything built less than 100 feet above sea level. Because it takes about 30 years to get your return on that much money and most of Florida doesn't have 30 years.

@#3 ... Disney isn't stupid ...

I agree.

... I have a feeling this announcement is made so they can cancel it in a few weeks and blame Deathsantis. ...

imo, there's more to it than that.

What that "more" is, I've not a clue.

Gracie's headline is misleading. It wasn't a "hint." It was a question.

Disney made no such announcement about another theme park in Florida. Here is his comment verbatim:

During a live conference call on Feb. 7, the CEO of The Walt Disney Company, Bob Iger, was asked a question regarding a fifth park at Disney World in Orlando.

"We're already hard at work, basically determining where we're going to place our new investments and what they will be," Iger said. "You can pretty much conclude that they will be all over, meaning every single one of our locations, will be the beneficiary of increased investment and thus increase capacity including on the High Seas," Iger said of Disney's theme parks and their cruise line around the world.

Disney is well known for keeping it perspective locations under wraps due to the spike in real estate once their intentions become known.

Oh yeah.

I've watched an hour-long documentary about the lengths that Disney went through to hide its intent for Florida's original Disney whatever. I cannot ever remember whether Florida is Disney World or Disney Land. Poor branding, imo, on Disney's part)

Every acre of that land in Kissimmee was purchased in top secret. That's how I knew Gracie's headline was way off base as were all the conspiracy theories about Disney and DeSantis.

In Disney's grand business scheme, DeSantis was no more than a speck on a wall. DeSantis was way out of his lane. He can't be very smart to step on that trip wire like he did when he was running for President.

How red faced must that be to be less popular than a cartoon character?

I am of the belief that this is being done to shame Tiny D.

#5 Take it up with Rogers. He is the one that changed it.
