Both candidates claiming victory...
One candidate claiming irregularities...
One candidate (former PM) sold state secrets...
One candidate represents tyranny...
One protestor shot and killed...
Chaos and uncertainty in the country...

Hmmmm . . . sounds vaguely familiar.

Hmmmm . . . sounds vaguely familiar.

Other than the part where the criminal candidate is actually in prison.

Pakistan's second and third political blocs have agreed to co-operate after elections in which jailed ex-PM Imran Khan's supporters came first. Ex-PM Nawaz Sharif's PMLN and Bilawal Bhutto Zardari's PPP issued a statement saying they planned to work together to bring political stability. If they do form a government, the move is likely to anger Mr Khan's followers.

No, but getting the most votes doesn't mean you get to govern.

Elections are not won by a person. Elections are won by a party.

The party with the most seats won gets to choose their Prime Minister.

We know which party is going to be asked to make the Govt. but we do not know who the Prime Minister would be.

Ask the Canadian. He knows the system too.
