No mystery. Trump has always empathized with criminals like Weinstein and crimes like Weinstein's. I say "empathize", but of course all I mean is that Trump is showing his fear he could share Weinstein's fate. Weinstein as a person Trump could not care less about.

It's interesting, the more he slips into insanity, the more his inside voice comes out. Poisoning the blood, bad genes, and other Hitlerisms are all deeply held beliefs for Dotard, but he has never before gone full Hitler as he has this cycle. I figured that when Kamala stepped in for Joe, Combover Quisling would be calling VPOTUS the N-Word on the stump by the end of this cycle, and I think we get closer by the day, perhaps it's why his people are hiding him away. He of course relates to Weinstein because they are the same sort of criminal, the only difference is that Dotard spent most of his life in front of cameras with a carefully crafted public image that offered his a shield from prosecution while Weinstein was behind the cameras, so the public and prosecutors were more willing to believe his famous victims. Otherwise the stories are identical. In his current state of decompensation, it is not a surprise to hear Dotard defending a fellow traveler, I'm sure a defense of Epstine is also just around the corner.
