Dennis Allen has been fired as the New Orleans Saints head coach after three seasons. The Saints started hot but have lost seven games in a row, bringing Allen's overall record to 18-25. This may give Jerry Jones an idea......

#1 Doubtful. I don't know what Jerry is doing and it appears more and more that he doesn't know either. 3-5 is not a good position to be in for making the playoffs.

It appears that having 3 12-5 seasons in a row with no play-off success left him to pay the heroes of that run and replace the old ones with a youth movement (see cheap replacement parts).

This o-line and d-line may one day be good, but they aren't now and that sets the tone for what the skill position players can and can't do.

I just hope he finds a good young coach and not a tired old one.

"3 12-5 seasons in a row"

I actually forgot that. The Cowboys get railed on so much it's hard to remember they've actually had some good regular seasons.
