"U.S. District Judge Amit Mehta didn't mention the prospect of mass pardons before he sentenced Ulrich to three years of probation with six months of home detention and 120 hours of community service.
In May 2023, Oath Keepers founder Stewart Rhodes was sentenced to 18 years in prison for orchestrating a plot to keep Trump in the White House after he lost the 2020 presidential election. Juries convicted Rhodes and several other extremist group leaders and members of seditious conspiracy charges.
The judge said Ulrich deserves a "debt of gratitude" because his courageous acceptance of responsibility could help the nation "heal and move forward."
"It shouldn't be lost on this country that people were found guilty of seditious conspiracy," Mehta said. "It is one of the most serious crimes that can be committed by an American."

It shouldn't be lost on this country that DJT is also guilty of seditious conspiracy; of being the brains behind the effort to overturn the Election.
Which is, of course, why it failed. Next time he wants to stay in power, he'll have Gaetz to force Justice to bend the knee to the King rather than do their sworn duty to the Constitution.

Was that "courageous acceptance of responsibility" done to reduce a jail sentence, or was it sincere?

It shouldn't be lost on this country either that Democrats and the Biden administration need charged with treason and seditious conspiracy for allowing our country to be invaded and over-run by druggies, gangs and criminals that are responsible for the deaths of many thousands, and we do not yet know where and how may children were involved and sexually abused by these people. What Oath Keepers did was nothing compared to the Democrats that opened our border to all of the above..

What Trump and the Oath Keepers did was illegal.
Your post full of lies should be, too

There's so much hogwash in that comment, I wouldn't know where to begin. But, if any of it were reasonably accurate don't Administrations (Dem and Rep alike) going back for several decades deserve credit (blame)? People have been walking across that border for as long as it's existed. Doesn't candidate Trump also deserve blame for scuttling the bipartisan immigration reform bill?
Now try to stay on topic. This post is about a seditionist Oath Keepers actions of Jan 6th, 2021.

Trump built the Wall and Mexico paid for it!

Betraying all your friends and associates for avoiding a few months of prison? Sounds like a great deal... for the DOJ.
