The federalist society had a meeting recently where they discussed their goals and accomplishments. They were especially proud of the SC cases beginning the process of dismantling the administrative state.

Their stated goal was to return America to 1935.

Why 1935 you say?

Because 1935 was when FDR began his transformation of our country into the liberal democracy we know now. Things like the Social Security Act and the Wagner Act (establishing the National Labor Relations Bureau) and the Banking Act of 1935 (completing the effort to make the Fed independent).

Their stated goal is to destroy all of the underpinnings of the social safety net and protections for the lower and middle class and return us to the Gilded Age.

These are people that sincerely believe that there are 2 types of people, rulers (including the wealthy-but only white Christians) and the rest of us-to be ruled.

These are people cheering and actively pursuing the destruction of the most popular programs in America-Social Security and Medicare. These people believe they are better than you and have pursued the means to establish permanent power over you.

This is not hyperbole; this is their stated aim.

And we have elected the perfect tool for them to achieve this end.
They have a Supreme Court just waiting for the court cases to lock their aims into immutable law.
And that Supreme Court will rule us for the next 40 to 50 years (minimum).
