Google announced that it will rename it "Gulf of America" and also will rename Denali as "Mt. McKinley" once the US Government updates their documents.

I heard from a friend that the reason for renaming the Gulf of Mexico is because Trump believes that all treaties and laws that apply to the Gulf of Mexico will no longer be enforceable with the name change. That will open up "drill baby, drill" throughout the Gulf. Anyone else heard this? It sounds like nonsense to me.

The stupidest thing about all this is that our country is not named "America". So he's kind of missing the point.
